The Magic Bowl

The Magic Bowl will always be full. You need only to wish and it will be filled with your culinary desires.

Ideal for the dining area don't you think? I saw a bowl shaped like this in a book and came up with my own version of stripes which led to the magic quality somehow. At first I had the bowl sitting on the table, then I thought if any food you wish for comes true, shouldn't the sky be the limit? Thus the clouds! 12" x 12"

Landscape Impression

An impressionistic painting of an imaginary landscape, inspired by Galiano Island and various oil paintings. I added Liquitex Liquithick Gel to my acrylics to imitate the texture of oil paints, a little bit goes a long way. I am truly delighted and pleased with the results. Again the finished product left me standing not knowing why I liked it, I guess it's because it has an interesting flair about it. 24" x 12"

Spring Flowers

The largest painting I ever did to date, 24" x 24" of fictional flowers inspired by vintage embroidery, Indian fabrics, Moroccan blog and the yearning for Spring. This now sits atop the computer area so I can look up and relax amongst the flowers.
