Yarn Bombing in the Hood

I've read about yarn bombing and seen it when we were passing through Santa Rosa, but this was the first time I've spotted a colorful knit in the hood! Wrapped around a metal pole its position changes depending on the time of day, sometimes it's fully stretched out, other times scrunched up at the bottom. A few blocks away it's pink and turquoise mate a tight bundle around a branch, there is no change in its location, a permanent scarf all season long.

  1. first time I hear about that... interesting what kind of things people do.
