Coffee and Cars Lamborghini Diablo

Coffee and Cars
Saturday, Spanish Banks at 8 AM.
Despite the cold and clouds
it was a fair turnout.
Cyclists passed by
sports cars were
the topic of conversation.

I had my eye on
the Lamborghini Diablo,
a spicy color
with sharp angled vents,
2 pairs of twin exhausts
and a very auspicious license plate.
Its body so shiny it
reflected its parking mate
the Pantera GT5.

The leather seats
an immaculate condition,
decorative holes and
fine stitching.
Its front windshield so clean
it reflected the trees above,
a handsome car for its age
I was delighted to be in its company.

  1. What a dreamy and inspirational verse! I love the way you rhymed license plate with parking mate. Not only are you a good poet, you're a good photographer too.
