There is no need to make a
roundish shape simply because
you're making a bowl. Start out
with a pinching method and eventually
working your way towards the sides
will result in an oval shape below.
Sea glass polished from the rolling tides,
broken shells and a small twig are
part of this bowl's decoration. They
were pressed into the body of
clay and left to dry. The bottom
was not as smooth as I had intended
but that became a perfect surface
for a fish, a surprise waiting underneath
the bowl. Fish and dots are painted on.
